CALCULATION OF STRUCTURES IN REINFORCED CONCRETE

The present rules of count are applicable to all works and constructions in reinforced concrete, submitted to ambiances departing some climatic influences and whose concrete presents the following features: - it is constituted of normal natural granulates; - its dosage in cement is at least equal to 300 Kg by meter cubes concrete put in application; - its resistance characteristic (art.A.3.1.3.1) to the compression is at least equal to 16 MPa and maximum equal to 60 MPa. Remain outside of the domain of application the present rules: - constructions in pre-reinforced concrete. - constructions in concrete no armed. - constructions concrete constituted of light granulates or heavy granulates, - constructions in cavernous concrete or in cellular, armed concrete. - supporting masonries. - constructions including metallic elements framework and structures mixed steel-concrete. - constructions exposed to earthquakes or the considerable dynamic effects. - the elements to submitted temperatures different those that result from some climatic influences appreciably; verifications to the fire are not aimed therefore by the present text. On the other hand, some particular works by their nature or their size, as for example tubing, chimneys, pipelines, reservoirs, viaducts, etc..., can make the object of specific rules to which it is made reference then. These particular works are therefore out of the domain of application of the present Rules.
