The present document defines the rules for the preparation and application of thick vertical exterior coatings of hydraulic binder-based mortar applied to the following substrates: - new or old masonry, concrete blocks or natural stone, - standard aggregate concretes. This document also applies to horizontal coatings applied to buildings as an undercoat. It does not cover thin finishing or smoothing coatings. It does not apply to sealing coatings used in waterproofing work.
